Pro Bono
In addition to companies and individual clients, GSMLaw
also advises non-pfrofit organisations that follow scientific,
cultural or social goals.
In the Anglo-Saxon legal community, the provision of pro
bono publico attorney services is a naturality for many
practitioners. The American Bar Association proposed that
American law firms should allocate 3% of their workingtime
to pro bono activities to contribute to general benefits.
Due to §49b
I 1 BRAO , the German attornyship is prohibited from
conducting legal activities without remuneration, thus standing
distanced form the current international trend.
In case of pro bono clients, GSMLaw is willing to
work on lowest possible remuneration basis, should the
concerned representation be in public interest. However,
we reserve the right to accept or decline mandates in
this category.
